I’m 13 but my handicap is 1 and i know a few things. First of all you need the equipment that is right for you so that you can play to your best ability. But since you are just starting you should go to your local PGA pro ask him for a few lessons. Once your swing is at a desent level (could take one lesson could take 5) Then you go to a pro shop Good ones that i have used: Edwin watts, golfsmith, TGW. Let the club fitter at the shop analyze your swing and he can guide you to the equipment that will help you lower a few strokes and make enjoy your game more. CARRY ON TAKING lessons it helps alot and the better you play the more you will enjoy it
